Agilent Seahorse XFe24 Analyzer
The Agilent Technologies Seahorse XFe24 Analyzer uses label-free technology to measure oxygen consumption rate (OCR) and extracellular acidification rate (ECAR) of live cells in a 24-well plate format. OCR and ECAR rates are key indicators of mitochondrial respiration and glycolysis and these measurements provide a systems-level view of cellular metabolic function in cultured cells and ex-vivo samples.
- 24-well microplate format, provides the capacity for larger and/or more metabolically active samples
 - Reports real-time metabolic rates in minutes, without sample extraction or labeling
 - Four-port injection system with automated mixing function, for detection of live-cell responses to substrates, inhibitors, and other compounds in real time
 - High sensitivity to analyze as few as 10,000 cells per well in the custom 24-well plate
 - Precision-controlled heating tray, maintains temperatures at 16–42°C (12–20°C above ambient conditions), for compatibility with a variety of samples
 - Analyze 3D samples such as zebrafish and islets
 - Quickly determine dependency of cellular energy production on mitochondrial substrates
 - Wave software allows easy creation of assay protocols and data analysis on your desktop PC and export to common spreadsheet and graphing programs
 - Combined with CX7 instruments for cell counting, normalization of data by directly importing cell counts into analysis software.
